This is an outstanding video by @mattkratter. I would point out one other very important thing. @Tether_to has gold reserves because it also started @tethergold.
While @mattkratter has not gone so far as to say gold has now replaced @Bitcoin as the premier base money due to the Core 30' drop on October 10, 2025, this is probably why he failed to catch this important point.
Further, @CryptoHayes is full of it, not because he uses USDT on @Bitmex (contrary to his own warnings) but because his exchange is full of shitcoins and has no gold pair.
If the audit is correct @tethergold is in a position to become the world's premier base money bank because it has successfully tethered the U.S. dollar and gold while offering the escape of @Bitcoin.

My view is that due to Core 30, #Bitcoin is now a distant second to gold as base money. I have posted two links to articles below in support of this view. Enjoy.
