Hello, quick update:
For Arbitrum Sepolia node operators, we’ve cut a new release that contains the fix to support the new blobs endpoint from Ethereum Consensus Layer (CL) clients.
Previously, only a handful of clients were backwards compatible (Prysm and reportedly Lodestar). The Nitro 3.7.5 release now supports /eth/v1/beacon/blobs/{slot} while maintaining backward compatibility with the legacy endpoint /eth/v1/beacon/blob_sidecars/{slot}, meaning that this version of Nitro will be able to fetch blobs properly from any CL client - assuming that the CL client is subscribed to all subnets on the L1’s Beacon Chain.
For teams who upgraded their batch posters to 3.8.0-rc8 or accidentally upgraded their RPC nodes to 3.8.0-rc8, we recommend 3.8.0-rc9.
We still strongly recommend teams who are on 3.7.x to stay on 3.7.x because 3.8.0-rc9 is not fully tested and introduces a database schema migration.
Thanks for your understanding
