unlike Lighter and yellow perp “DEX”, Hyperliquid is the L1, where absolutely every transaction is confirmed by a BFT of 24 validators. It’s not a L2 ran by a single sequencer in founder’s basement. btw, Lighter’s zk-proofs aren’t enough for true decentralization: they verify txs only after the fact, while users still rely on the sequencer’s honesty in real time. orderbook matching, trades execution, txs priority is managed by a SINGLE sequencer, which can do anything for its own good. this would not happen on a decentralized L1, as there is no single point of consensus. A truly decentralized perpetuals DEX can’t be L2, as they're dependent on third-party oracles (study oracle manipulations) and have to store orderbook data elsewhere (DA or zk-proofs to underlying L1, as Lighter does) same time, Hyperliquid is THE ONLY perpetual DEX with in-house security, in-house oracles and truly onchain orderbook. native USDC is already deployed on HyperEVM and being connected to HyperCore. It’s not that simple connection, as USDC on HyperCore is not a classic HIP-1, and isn’t deployed by Circle. So please be patient.
